History: Born in very poor conditions, Matvey learned from young that in the cruel and dark world of Moscow's seedy underbelly, it's survival of the fittest and there is no mercy for the weak. The oldest of seven children, five of which are girls, and the youngest being the second son, Matvey relied heavily on his big size, big fists, and even bigger temper, to protect his younger siblings from bullies and predators. Unlike the RED Heavy he had not been sent to an army camp for young kids; no, his life was one of countless battles in the underground arena, fighting his way through round after round just to put food on the table for his family. His father was practically non-existent in his life either; a counter-revolutionary, the man was often away on missions and plots that he always promised "would lead to a better Russia for all of them". Matvey just spit on them; promises wouldn't feed their hungry stomachs now.
Eventually his father was caught and killed when Matvey was 12, and the remainder of the family thrown into the Gulag. His younger years fighting soon became the sole thing that kept his family alive; a ferocious contender, some of the older prisoners were impressed by the young Matvey as he beat up other inmates who threatened his family. It was also in the Gulag that he killed his first man; someone had tried to sexually assault his sister. It was then that Matvey truly lost all sense of restraint; pummelling the man to nothing more than a mash before hanging the body up as a warning to others.
Apart from those bloody moments, Matvey spent most of his time training his body, getting stronger and stronger. He hatched onto some of the stronger boxers at the Gulag, selling everything, including his body, just for a chance to learn more. The daily struggle for
